comfort in the morning comes in different waves feelings most important at dark or in the day with warmth that’s in a blanket or pushing through the cold to buy some eggs and bacon or butter for my rolls and i feel insecure now my comfort’s gone away life is far less pure now at some point that will change and i look forward to the wait to sleep or wake up early i’ll burden all my friends i’m rushing if it’s dark out in the morning i’ll pretend that i have earned a resting a heart rate slowed at best if i forced myself to get out i would ward off certain death and i look forward to the wait
